London, Mar. 2 (ANI): Arsenal’s crisis has worsened with Dutch striker Robin van Persie being told that he could be out for six weeks because of a knee injury that he got during the Carling Cup final.
Theo Walcott has also been ruled out of Tuesday’s Champions League trip to Barcelona while Alex Song has a knee injury.
Defender Laurent Koscielny will be “rested” for tonight’s FA Cup fifth-round replay against Leyton Orient.
According to The Sun, the only good news is that skipper Cesc Fabregas looks set to recover from a hamstring problem in time to play against Barcelona.
Manager Arsene Wenger admitted after seeing test results: “Unfortunately, we had bad news on the scan.” (ANI)
