Ten college bowl games were scheduled in these two days, which gifted football lovers some gut-wrenching actions. The thrill of Sugar Bowl and Rose Bowl on January 1, was carried to the Liberty Bowl on January 2, 2010. This year, the 51st Liberty Bowl was played between the Arkansas Razorbacks and East Carolina Pirates, in Memphis.

As both the teams have an equally talented line up, they gave a good chase to each other but it was the Arkansas Razorbacks, who came out as the ultimate winner of the Liberty Bowl. According to the reports, the close game had ended at a score of 20-17, which declared that the Arkansas Razorbacks clinched the victory in the overtime. The field goal of 37-yard by Alex Tejada gave Arkansas the win in the 51st Liberty Bowl. Though Arkansas team’s better performance made them victorious, the result could have changed if the East Carolina players had avoided the mistakes they made during game.

East Carolina had missed some good opportunities to score points and were disappointed with their performance.
