Arizona Sun Devils Top Seed At The NCAA Baseball Tournament 2010

ncaaNew York, June 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The NCAA officials on Monday announced the NCAA’s 64-team Division I college baseball tournament 2010 brackets and the Arizona Sun Devils baseball team was announced to be the top seeded team. The other teams to make it to the top eight seeds this season are Texas, Florida, Coastal Carolina, Virginia, UCLA, Louisville and Georgia Tech college baseball teams respectively. As per the reports, 29 teams in this year’s NCAA baseball tournament were not selected last year and are returning at least after a year to the tournament. The NCAA baseball tournament 2010 announcement also went on to write the history for the Miami Hurricanes’ team that got selected for the tournament for the 38th consecutive time.

That the team might make it to the top seed this season was anticipated by many as under the guidance of the new coach Tim Esmay, the Arizona Sun Devils have performed well throughout the last season and have also won some important tournaments. On Monday after making the announcement, the chairman of the committee Tim Weiser told to media sources that the Arizona Sun Devils did not make “very many mistakes” and added people have come to recognize the team as to be different from the other teams. The team is still in a great form and hopes to make it big at the NCAA baseball tournament 2010.

According to the announcement, the NCAA baseball tournament will begin on Friday, June 4. The Arizona Sun Devils will be seen competing against the Milwaukee baseball team that had won the Horizon League. The Arizona Sun Devils teams that has grabbed the top seed for the first time is not likely in a mood to lose the position.
