Glendale, Jan 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The playoff season has finally started amidst much fans’ anticipation. The first week of the playoff scheduled quite a few thrilling games. Though it cannot be denied that almost all the playoffs had packed excitement in abundance, the game between the Arizona Cardinals and the Greenbay Packers was the most pulse-racing. Scores were getting added easily and records indicate that it was the highest scoring game in the history of the NFL playoff. As per the reports, the final score of 51-45 indicated that both the teams had made the best use of their offense players and shattered the defense wall of the opponents completely.
Both Arizona Cardinals and Greenbay Packers had struggled against each other throughout the game but it was ultimately Arizona Cardinals who walked off with the victory. They defeated their strong rival Greenbay Packers by 6 points and won the highest scoring game in the history of NFL. Before this, the record of highest scoring NFL playoff was held by a game played between Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles in the year 1995. The scored read 58-37 in that game and Eagles claimed victory upon the Lions.
The playoff recorded 9 touchdowns and 801 yards, which got the crowd that had gathered to cheer for their team in an overdrive. Though there were several good moves by the offense of both the teams, Karlos Dansby’s performance in the overtime had been really praiseworthy. He made a seventeen yard fumble return to score a touchdown and beat the Packers in the overtime. However, none of the fans from either side could complain much, as they got to witness such an extraordinary match.
