Argentina, Spain favourites: Viswanathan Anand
June 14th, 2010 - 8:13 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, June 14 (IANS) World chess champion Viswanathan Anand considers Argentina and Spain as hot favourites to win the ongoing FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
“I am following the World Cup. Argentina and Spain are my favourite teams for this World Cup”, Super Grandmaster Anand told mediapersons here Monday.
“Lionel Messi is my favourite player,” added the grandmaster who was in the city to launch an NIIT inter-college chess competition.
