Antonio Silva Registers Victory Against Andrei Arlovski By Unanimous Decision

St. Louis, May 16, (THAINDIAN NEWS) All the fans of Andrei Arlovski were in for a huge disappointment on Saturday when the Belarusian mixed martial arts fighter suffered a humiliating defeat against Antonio Silva at the Strikeforce Heavy Artillery event by a unanimous decision. The loss for Andrei Arlovski must have come as a rude shock to him as well as all his fans as with the defeat the martial arts fighter has lost three consecutive bouts for the very first time in his career. All the three judges gave the final decision in favor of Antonio Silva, who clinched victory with the score of 29-28.
Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva’s win during Saturday’s showdown did not come as much of a surprise as the 30 year old fighter remained in control of the bout almost throughout the fight. The fact that the Brazilian fighter intended to give his best shot to taste victory was palpable from the first round itself when Antonio Silva showered his opponent with leg kicks and punches with the round concluding with Andrei Arlovski being thrashed to the ground. Although in the second round, the 31 year old Belarusian fighter displayed better skills, his opponent’s heavy strikes prevented him to gain control over the bout.
The final round witnessed Antonio Silva taking his opponent to the ground with just about more than a minute left in the bout with the Brazilian fighter ultimately emerging as the ultimate winner on all three judges card. The defeat of the former UFC heavyweight champion surely left all his fans utterly disappointed.
