Anthony Randolph Set To Be Traded To The New York Knicks

randoJuly 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The latest reports suggest that Anthony Randolph of the Golden State Warriors is heading to the New York Knicks. The Golden Warriors will bring in veteran David Lee in place of the 21 year old forward. Apart from Anthony Randolph the Golden State Warriors will also trade Ronny Turiaf and Kellena Azubuike to the New York Knicks.

As reports, of a LeBron James coming into the New York side, circulate the other teams are keeping their hopes high till any further announcement is made. The trade of Anthony Randolph may just be more beneficial for the New York Knicks as he is expected to grown in strength and technique in the years to come. For the veteran David Lee, the fitness is expected to last another 3 years maximum. By adding David Lee the Golden State Warriors will now have a bigger name in the roster and also the necessary experience to take their suffering side forward.

Both Anthony Randolph and David Lee area great rebounders but David lee is said to be a better force in the defense. Some experts believe that he may not be as effective against high quality attack like Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant. Anthony Randolph has also had an excellent rebounding record with the Golden State Warriors so far and the New york Knicks is expected to be a great move in the career of the youngster.

Anthony Randolph has been compared to the greats like Lamar Odom and Chris Bosh for his on court abilities and potential. At 6′10″ and 210 pounds he is known for his incredible agility and ball handling skills.
