Johannesburg, July 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Fifa 2010 Football world cup final is hogging the attention of the football fans tonight and that of the media too. However, a section of Football crazy people are also concentrating on Singapore and Germany. This is because these are the places where two famous animal oracles namely Paul the Psychic Octopus and Mani the parakeet live!

The animal oracles as they are now known have become as famous as some of the players within few days after their predictions for vital world cup matches worked unexpectedly.

Paul the octopus leads the oracle brigade though the parakeet from Singapore named Mani is giving him stiff competition. Paul rose to fame after all his predictions made on the German team proved to be right. The Germans got so angry after the team’s defeat that they threatened to kill and devour the animal.

The two animal oracles have locked horns with each other on the outcome of the final of the Fifa world cup 2010 which will take place tonight. While Paul has suggested that Spain will win the final Mani has opposed the view by picking Holland as the possible winner. The owner of the bird who has an Indian origin has said that the bird is not like any other parakeets and has special powers.

For some football fans the prediction of the animal oracles hold no value, but for some others thee animals are very special since most of their match predictions have proved to be true so far. It remains to be seen which animal oracle, Mani or Paul, has the last laugh.
