London, Apr.10 (ANI): World No. 4 Tennis player Andy Murray’s has said that his mother, Judy will remain a part of his camp, no matter what coach he brings in to advise him over the next few months.

Murray said that even if he went in for a high-profile name, his mother a driven coach herself with an impressive tactical knowledge of players and how they perform, would still be a major part of his support team.

“Any coach has to understand the relationship is always there. She’s my mum, and I speak to her like anyone would speak to his mother,” The Daily Express quoted him as saying.

“She’s there for me when I most need her and, when I want some advice. She’s important to me because she knows me better than anybody else,” he added.

Murray said that he is not in a rush to find a new coach, but would like the new man to be there and work with him some time between the French Open and Wimbledon.

In the wake of three Grand Slam final defeats, Murray had been encouraged to not rely on Judy’s input too much and has decided to make more important decisions on his own, including the choice of who he brings in for the 35-week season.
In the meantime, Murray will turn to tennis coach Darren Cahill and former Australian player to coach him over the next few weeks. (ANI)
