Liverpool, Dec 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Football fans are wondering why the latest FIFA game has Andy Carroll kissing Arsenal goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski. A clip of the scene has been uploaded on the Internet.

Game maker EA has introduced the Impact Engine into the latest version of the game which mimics collision in real life. It is not clear if the clip is from the final game or the demo but in any case, a closer look at the clip reveals that what actually happened was not a kiss.

It all has to do with the Impact Engine. Because of the factors involved with the engine, Carroll and Fabianski ended up kissing when in fact it was supposed to be an impact.

FIFA 12 is the latest version of the EA game. It is rated three years and above so such a scene would have been a subject of contention with the game makers. Critics say the engine should be investigated to determine if even nastier incidents could result from the working of the Impact Engine.

The Impact Engine is not all about X-Rated scenes. In some scenes, just slight collisions send players flying into the air which in real life could be equated to a person being hit by a truck!
