Andre Johnson Expresses Apology For Fight With Cortland Finnegan

mic1Houston, Nov 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Houston Texans wide receiver has expressed his apologies to his teammates for getting involved in an ugly fight with Tennessee Titans cornerback Cortland Finnegan during Sunday’s game. Despite the fact that Houston Texans ere able to beat their opponents with a score of 20-0 during yesterday’s game, the ardent followers of the team have a reason to be perturbed as the wide receiver might face action from National Football League due to his fight with the Tennessee cornerback.

After the incident during the fourth quarter of the game which eventually resulted in both Cortland Finnegan and the Houston Texans wide receiver being ejected, Andre Johnson apologized for his behavior. Later, the noted Houston Texans player said that he wanted to express his apologies to his organization, his teammates as well as his owner for his on-field action. The wide receiver further went on to say that the manner in which he ended up behaving during the game, was not really him while adding that he had lost his temper. Although Andre Johnson refused to talk about Cortland Finnegan, he expressed his desire to take back what had transpired on the field but he could not do that.

In the meanwhile, Andre Johnson also told reporters that he fully expected the NFL to take disciplinary action against him but hinted that a suspension was something that he surely hoped to avoid. The fact that Andre Johnson might face a suspension for his action is a prospect that is going to be a cause of concern for Houston Texans as it would be a big blow to the team.
