Australia Mar 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Seth Enslow, who is an American motorcycle stunt performer, has set a world record for the longest jump. The jump was performed in Sydney, Australia,Tuesday morning on a “slightly modified” Harley Davidson motorcycle.

His first jump of 175 feet smashed through the previous record of around 157 feet which was made a decade ago in Las Vegas, Nevada, by Bubba Blackwell. When he discovered that half of the press had missed the first jump, he proceeded to break his own record by jumping a second time. This time his mark was 183.7 feet. According to news.com.au ” The star was scheduled to make his record jump at 9.30am (AEDT) but he took the jump at 8.45am with only a third of the press there. He broke the record with that jump but was forced to take it again when he realized the press had missed it.” The jump can be seen in a You Tube video below.

Apparently, Enslow was injured when he made the second jump, but was said to have been pleased with the outcome. “Lot of hard work putting this ramp together the last few days, the weather has been testing us but we made it happen so accomplished the job we set out to do,” he said. The stunt had taken him and his team a full year to prepare for.
