Feb 27, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former Spurs guard and NBA All star Alvin Robertson has been accused of being a part of a sex racket and sex-trafficking ring. Alvin Robertson and his clan has been charged of forcing a 14-year-old girl to indulge in sexual activities and forced prostitution last year throughout San Antonio and Corpus Christi area. Alvin Robertson, who has been playing for Spurs since 1984 has also been awarded NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year. Alvin Robertson was the last man to be taken into custody on Friday.

The investigation report indicates seven people being involved in this act beside Alvin Robertson. The sex racket also involves R&B performer and another, who was charged of bribing an official at the Greater Kelly Development Authority. The girl is now residing with her parents in San Antonio. She was kidnapped in March 2009 and forced into prostitution. However, she hasn’t been identified because she is a minor and a victim of sex crime. She escaped in March 30, 2009 from the shackles of her captor Leslie Roy Campbell (49), and landed straight at Corpus Christi police.

Alvin Robertson is also charged with human trafficking of under 18 for prostitution and sexual assaults. Alvin Robertson’s girlfriend, Racquel McIntosh (41) is also accused of similar charges.

Alvin Robertson has always landed himself in situations brushing with the laws after his NBA career came to an end. Much prior to this, in the year of 2002, Alvin Robertson has done time when he faced a three-year prison verdict owing to the violation of his probation after he was accused of sexual assault. Alvin Robertson was released from prison in the following year.
