Alonso predicts Ferrari to be most reliable F1 team in lead up to Oz Grand Prix
March 21st, 2011 - 5:23 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, Mar 21(ANI): Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso has declared his team as the most reliable Formula One team heading into Sunday’s season-opening Australian Grand Prix.
“We’ve had a very good pre-season. We’re the team that’s driven the most and that has had the fewest problems in terms of reliability,” the Age quoted Alonso, as saying.
“In terms of our competitiveness, we’ll have to wait until Australia. But the global outlook hasn’t changed a lot since last year.”
“McLaren will be in there again at the end. It seems that Mercedes have improved. And Red Bull and Ferrari will be at the front,” he added.
Ferrari completed an average of 100 laps a day during testing, which Alonso said proved that the car would be ultra-reliable. (ANI)
