March 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Anthony Galea, the Canadian physician attending the American baseball stud Alex Rodriguez is being interrogated following an investigation involving the smuggle and sell of illegal drugs in Canada. The relation between the two is somewhat obscure to scan at this point in time. Alex Rodriguez has previously declared his use of performance enhancing drugs. Now, he is still answerable to the federal cops investigating the drug case on Anthony Galea.
Alex Rodriguez & Doctor Galea had witnessed close encounters many a times in Alex Rodriguez’s career and it is the very same thing that the federal agents are throwing hints at. The drug in question is called Actovegin, which is illegal both in U.S.A as well as in Canada. It is extracted from calf’s blood and is chiefly meant for healing purposes. Anthony Galea had his first confrontation with the federal officials when his assistant Mary Anne Catalano was blocked in her way to the border, following vials of Human Growth Hormone and subsequent substance traces that was found in her car.
The federal agents are also keeping a sharp eye in interviewing many a leading sport personalities who has been under the treatment and supervision of the doctor. The list is pretty long and heavy with eminent sportsmen like Jose Reyes and Tiger Woods. Not to forget that it was Doctor Anthony Galea who had treated the Mets shortstop. Even prior to that, we have witnessed Tiger Woods and his “unorthodox blood-spinning technique” which came out of the doctors hands only. Alex Rodriguez has declared that he shall cooperate fully in the Galea case.
