Mar 1, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Alex Rodriguez, better known as A-Rod, the third base of the New York Yankees, and possibly one of the most sought after players in the Major Baseball league, was recently involved in a car accident. However, thankfully for his fans, and even more so for the team he plays in, the accident was absolutely minor. In fact, Alex Rodriguez claimed that he would not even like to call the incident an accident; according to him, the term “fender-bender” would be more like it. He insisted on laughing away all the concern and questions about the accident, claiming that it was of no consequence at all.

At the press conference that Alex Rodriguez attended mere hours after being involved in the accident, he commented that it amused him to think that it was drawing so much attention, given its inconsequential nature. He insisted that no sign of being involved in the accident could be visible, neither on himself nor on his car, which had not even suffered a scratch. His comments had been echoed by his representative, who claimed that the baseball star had not received any injuries from the accident.

The accident is said to have happened at the time when A-Rod was on his way to the press conference, at the Yankees’ spring training center. The player himself did not go into the details just saying that the mishap had occurred quite early on the morning of Thursday, some distance from the parking lot of the center. Soon after the incident, he was spotted practicing, and possibly even a police report has not been filed.
