Albert HaynesworthDec 8, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Albert Haynesworth, the Washington Redskins defensive lineman has been suspended from his team for the rest of the season as the player refused to cooperate with the coaches and follow their instructions. The authorities called it an act of “conduct detrimental to the club.”

The highest paid player in the team, Albert Haynesworth will go unpaid for the next four games, as announced by the team on Tuesday. However, this new reached the player the day before. Reportedly, Albert Haynesworth did not attend the practice sessions for two days, before the last game against their NFC East rival New York Giants. He justified himself saying that he was sick. However, their coach, Mike Shanahan did not pay much heed to his excuse and was quite offended with his lack of dedication. In an interview the coach has stated that despite numerous attempts to warn Albert Haynesworth, he failed to abide by the terms and conditions of his contract and refused to cooperate in the coaches in more than one ways, over a period of time. He also complained that he always refuses to comply with the instructions of the coach, both during their weekly sessions and the actual games. Many times, he even refused to play as a base defense for the team.

However, the situation took a bitter turn when Albert Haynesworth went to the General Manager of the team, Bruce Allen and told him that he would not like to speak to Mike Shanahan. Although the decision of suspending a player is not the sole authority of the head coach, the matter reached its brim that day, and the bitter decision had to be taken with no other alternative.
