Aisam-ul-Haq reaches career-best ATP ranking of 12

Islamabad, April 5(ANI): Pakistan’s top tennis player Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi has reached his career-best ranking of number 12.
Aisam, who recently returned home after participating in ATP Masters series tournament in the United States, moved up four places from his last position in the updated ATP doubles rankings, the Dawn reports.
The grand-slam finalist and his doubles partner Rohan Bopanna of India are now ranked at number eight- a two-step hop from their previous position of 10- while Bopanna’s individual ranking remains unchanged at 15.
The duo, also known as the Indo-Pak Express, finished as semi-finalists at the Indian Wells ATP Masters and as quarter-finalists at the Miami Masters.
Apart from being praised for their skills on court, Bopanna and Aisam have been receiving accolades from the western media for their humanitarian goals and bringing the two countries closer. (ANI)
