Houston, Oct 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to reports, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is going to ask Raiders coach Tom Cable about his own role in a training-camp injury incident in which defensive assistant Randy Hanson got a broken jaw after being struck in the face by an Oakland coach.

“This is not getting pushed under the rug,” Goodell said, according to Fox Sports’ reporter Jay Glazier.

It is also reported that Goodell told newsagents that the commissioner might take disciplinary action based on results from an investigation conducted by the Napa Police Department. This reflects that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is taking the matter very seriously and is taking a personal look in the matter too.

“I don’t know anything about that development,” Cable said after Sunday’s 29-6 loss to the Houston Texans at Reliant Stadium.

Defensive assistant Randy Hanson is longer working for the Raiders, though he is still on their payrolls. He said to the reporters that he was interviewed by the Napa police 10 days ago, reportedly telling an investigator that Raiders coach Tom Cable struck him straight on the face, because of which he sustained a broken jaw.

According, to other unconfirmed sources, the Raiders are reportedly bracing themselves for the likely possibility that head coach Tom Cable could soon be behind bars for his infamous training camp altercation with former defensive assistant Randy Hanson.
