Advani, Rahul likely to watch World Cup final

New Delhi, April 1 (IANS) Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani and Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi will watch the cricket World Cup final in Mumbai Saturday while Congress president Sonia Gandhi is unlikely to attend.
According to BJP sources, Advani will be watching the final at the Wankhede stadium Saturday. Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley will be also there in his capacity as a cricket administrator.
However, Sonia Gandhi, who was at Mohali Wednesday during the India-Pakistan semifinal, would not go to Mumbai, Congress sources said.
Gandhi returned to Delhi this afternoon after electioneering in Assam. “Her programme for Saturday has not been finalised,” a party leader said, hinting she will not go to Mumbai.
However, Rahul Gandhi was likely to go to Mumbai, party sources said
He may be accompanied by sister Priyanka Gandhi, her husband Robert Vadra and their family, the sources said.
