Aditi, Vashistha qualify for Faldo Series
October 1st, 2011 - 8:14 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 1 (IANS) Aditi Ashok in girls under-16 category, Vashistha Pawar in boys under-16, and Ankur Chadha in boys under-18 emerged as winners in the Faldo Series qualifiers held alongside the Toyota-IGU Categorised tournament in Pune.
The overall Faldo boys champion was Pawar.
The under-21 girls and boys qualifiers will be selected based on the Order of Merit (OOM) of Men and Ladies as on Dec 19 and Jan 23 respectively, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria.
As per the Faldo Series rules and regulations, the qualifying age categories for the boys and girls were:
Categories and age criteria: boys Under-18 (Born 1993 - 1994); boys under-16 (Born 1995 - 1999); girls under-18 (Born 1993 - 1994); girls under-16 (Born 1995 - 1999).
