Manila, Apr 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) U.S comedian Adam Carolla who had recently during a podcast passed some outrageous comments on the seven time world championship winner fighter Manny Pacquiao, has apologized for his comments. His apology comes after the whole of Philippines took offense at his comments and criticized him not only in social networking websites but also in different radio stations and television talk shows.

The Italian-American comedian was criticized for his comments by the Philippines government as well. The presidential spokesperson Gary Olivar reportedly called Adam Carolla an “ignorant fool” and said that the country does not value his statement and that it will not provide value to the comment by asking for an apology. Gary Olivar asserted that Adam Carolla should ask for an apology from his fellow Americans for whom he has bought a bad name.

Adam Carolla, however, has issued an apology for “crossing the limit.” Adam Carolla who reportedly has 71,277 followers in the social networking website “Twitter” chose the medium for apology. In his apology, he mentioned that he never plans the commentaries he makes and tries to sound funny. However in doing so he had crossed the limit and that he is sorry for hurting the sentiments of so many people. In another of his tweet, Adam Carolla who had criticized and used abusive words for the pound-for-pound fighter Manny Pacquiao earlier, mentioned that he considers the latter to be a great fighter. Manny Pacquiao is held in high respect all over the world for his fighting skills and the remarks made by the U.S comedian had left the entire Filipino community shell-shocked.
