Rome, Aug 23 (IANS) Italian football club AC Milan confirmed that the swap deal involving Antonio Cassano and Giampaolo Pazzini has been completed.
The AC Milan website read Wednesday: “AC Milan announces it has acquired outright from FC Internazionale Giampaolo Pazzini and simultaneously has sold Antonio Cassano outright to FC Internazionale.”
It is believed that Milan paid Inter some 7 million euros as part of the deal, which came to pass after Cassano grew disenchanted with the club after seeing the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva depart, said Xinhua.
