London, Mar 3 (ANI): Italian club AC Milan is close to signing a deal with LA Galaxy for the extension of England midfielder David Beckhams loan to their club.
The Italian giants hope to agree a deal with LA Galaxy for him to stay at the San Siro until June before making a permanent move in January.
AC chief executive Adriano Galliani said: Negotiations are getting more intense. I hope he stays until June 30. Then he could return to LA and come back in January. Its complicated but Im trying.
Beckham is due back at Galaxy on March 9, The Sun reported.
The two clubs held talks over a permanent transfer, but were unable to agree a fee for Beckham. A new deal could be finalised by the end of the week.
The ex-England captain has impressed since joining AC Milan in January, netting twice in nine Serie A games. (ANI)
