Abhijit Chadha stays in front at Gujarat Open
November 18th, 2009 - 7:49 pm ICT by IANSAhmedabad, Nov 18 (IANS) Chandigarh’s Abhijit Chadha maintained his ascendancy on the top of the leaderboard after the second round of the LG Gujarat Open at the par-72 Kensville Golf Club here Wednesday.
With a round of three-over 75, Chadha has a tournament total of two-over 146 and now enjoys a three-shot lead.
Pune lad Aditya Bhandarkar was in lone second place after a 77 this day which puts him at five-over for the tournament. Delhi’s Pawan Kumar lost only one spot on the leaderboard but is now four shots adrift of the leader at seven-over for the tournament. Gagan Verma moved into fourth place with the best round of the day.
The Delhi Golf Club player shot a round of two-over 74 and his tournament total stands at eight-over 152. Karan Vasudeva was another shot further back in sole fifth place.
