Abdullah, Rana win titles
September 10th, 2011 - 3:31 pm ICT by IANSChennai, Sep 10 (IANS) Top seed Shaikh Abdullah and fellow-Indian Shweta Rana won the boys and girls singles titles, respectively, in the Servo ITF junior tennis tournament here in Tamil Nadu Saturday.
In the finals, Shashank Nautiyal (Ind) conceded the match to Abdullah, who led 6-1, 3-0, while fifth seeded Rana won a close battle against third ranked Bhuvana Kalva 5-7, 6-4, 6-2.

Boys Doubles: 1-Vinod Gawda / Abdullah Shaikh (Ind) bt Richie Agarwal / Vijay Jude Raymond (Ind) 6-2, 2-6, (10-6). Girls Doubles: 6-Snehadevi Reddy / Dhruthi Tatachar Venugopal (Ind) bt 5-Namita Bal / Prarthana Thombare (Ind) 6-3, 6-4.
