New York, Dec 20 (THAINDIAN NEWS) In an unfortunate accident, Aaron Ross has reinjured his hamstring. He reinjured his hamstring on Thursday and consequently did not practice on Friday. Obviously coach Tom Coughlin wasn’t too happy about the incident. “I’m concerned, yes,” a frustrated coach Tom Coughlin said.
Prior to this, Aaron Ross had hurt his hamstring twice during the training camp and as a consequence he had to miss the first 2 months of the season. And then when he recovered then he made his first start last Sunday, playing safety instead of his usual cornerback spot against the Philadelphia Eagles.
“It’s been tough, we’ve been having an uphill battle in the secondary all year, but I think we’ve done a great job of always adjusting and people stepping up, so I don’t think it will be any different this week,” Thomas said. “I feel sorry for the man. He finally came back and was looking for a chance to get a couple more reps at cornerback and he has another step back. Hopefully, with a couple of days of rest, he’ll get back out there.”
And now with Aaron Ross ruled out of play for sometime yet again, veteran Kevin Dockery might get a chance to sneak in. Though Dockery himself had missed the first three games of the season with a hamstring injury.
