Tampa, Mar 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The star sportsman Alex Rodriguez is going to be questioned by the federal agents, in the probe of the Canadian doctor – Dr Anthony Galea, who is under investigation for selling unapproved drugs. When Alex was questioned on whether he knew of the probe or not, then he replied that he was ‘aware’ of the investigation, and he is thinking about fully cooperating with the authorities in this case.
He however revealed that he doesn’t know when he is going to meet the federal agents, “I can’t really get into that,” Rodriguez said. “I have to speak to those guys first. I’ve just got to wait for instructions.” The footballer refused to even confirm if Dr Anthony Galea had treated him, and instead he just said that, “I’m focused on baseball.” The Yankees have released a statement saying that, “The Yankees never authorized Dr. Tony Galea to treat Alex Rodriguez, nor do we have any knowledge of any such treatment. We will continue to monitor the situation.”
The Canadian doctor – Dr. Anthony Galea is under investigation for using the unapproved drug Actovegin, which is extracted from the blood of a calf, and is used for healing purposes.
