75 penalised for Games lane violation
October 6th, 2010 - 8:10 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 6 (IANS) The Delhi Traffic Police Wednesday issued challans to 75 vehicles for violating the Games lane restrictions and issued notices to 18 others, police said. Two vehicles were also impounded for entering the Games lane.
The Delhi Traffic Police enforced restrictions on the Games lane Sep 23 which will continue till Oct 14 when the Commonwealth Games end.
The Games lane violators are imposed a fine of Rs.2.000. The traffic police Oct 4 crossed the 1,000-figure mark of challans against vehicles entering the restricted lane.
