3rd ODI Ind Vs Eng Series 2008November 20th, 2008 - 10:49 am ICT by Amrit Rashmisrisethi
The 3rd ODI India vs England 2008 will be played at Green Park, Kanpur at 0900 IST.
After having first two one day internationals in the ongoing seven match one day series in India and watching Indian sweeping England’s play. Shiv Kumar , the pitch curator, told the media that the pitch at Green Park would be a batsman’s delight and a bowler’s nightmare because the ball will bounce and come to the bat nicely.
As shown in the previous two matches and might trouble England in the game having Indian batsmen Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir and Yusuf Pathan been in the form. The match can be considered tough for England if both the Indian openers click together and will get to watch India crossing 300 yet again.
Both the teams will see changes in their squads because India has chances to bring in their pace bowler Ishant Sharma in place of R.P.Singh. England plans to beef up its spin attack by bringing in specialist off-spinner Graeme Swann in place of Samit Patel or Ravinder Bopara, who is doubtful starter for the third ODI.
Now, it is certain that the scoring is huge and another important task is the toss which adds the other team to pressure.
