New York, Sept 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The 2nd Week rankings of the 2011 College Football in the United States looked strikingly similar to the order in the first week. Tulsa was no match against first week top-ranked team, Oklahoma Sooners. The team seems to have hit the peak at the best time of the season.

Sooners are in the form of their lives and with the season several more matches to go, they are playing like they have reached the midseason already. Alabama Crimson Tide is also keeping the pressure on the Sooners from the second position. They humiliated Kent State 48-7 and that is enough to keep the momentum in their wings for several matches to come.

No. 3 ranked Oregon Ducks were not that impressive in their game against No. 4 LSU Tigers. The Ducks lost the game and subsequently their position. They may now find themselves at the bottom ranks of the top ten list. By their feat, the Tigers are currently 3rd on the rankings and that leaves the fourth position up for grabs for No. 5 Boise State.

Boise will have to overcome No. 19 Georgia Bulldogs to move into the top five teams on week two.
