Would-be suicide bomber arrested in northwest Pakistan
May 1st, 2011 - 2:31 pm ICT by ANIKohat, May 1(ANI): A 17-year-old suspected suicide bomber has been arrested from Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to official sources, the suspected suicide bomber was arrested in a joint operation of the Frontier Corps and the peace committee of the Jawa kai area of Frontier Region Kohat.
The teenager, who was arrested from the Ara Khel area, was shifted to an unknown place for investigation, The News reports.
Investigations revealed that the suspected suicide bomber’s name is Noor Mohammad, and he is a resident of Tappi Kohat.
The suspect was dozed with tranquillisers for the completion of the mission.
However, no weapon or explosive material was recovered from him. (ANI)
