Woman helps to rob bank in Pakistan
November 17th, 2010 - 1:14 pm ICT by IANSKarachi, Nov 17 (IANS) A woman accompanied by two armed men robbed a bank in this Pakistani city - in five minutes flat.
The gang arrived at the bank in a car at around noon Monday. They entered the bank and snatched the weapons from the security guards, the Daily Times reported Wednesday.
They took the staff hostage at gunpoint and took away Rs.1.1 million from the cash counter.
Amir Farooqi, a police official, said the gang completed the robbery within five minutes.
Last year, the same bank branch was looted of Rs 1.8 million on the eve of Eidul Fitr.
