We have to continue to engage Pakistan: PM

New Delhi, June 29 (IANS) India will continue to engage with Pakistan, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh told a group of editors Wednesday.
“He said we have to keep Pakistan engaged,” Kumar Ketkar, editor of Divya Marathi, told reporters after the media interaction at the prime minister’s 7, Race Course residence. Manmohan Singh Wednesday met with five print media editors for 100 minutes.
According to Ketkar, the prime minister also said that “he doesn’t have full trust about whatever that is happening within Pakistani army and government”.
At the same time, Manmohan Singh asserted that it was “in the healthy interest of India that Pakistan retains democracy and there is no tension (in relations)”.
