US has ignited hatred by patronizing Israel: JeI chief

January 12th, 2009 - 2:45 pm ICT by ANI Tell a Friend -

Islamabad, Jan 12 (ANI): Jamaat-e-Islami held a protest demonstration to condemn the Israel aggression in Gaza in which thousands of charged participants kept on chanting anti-Zionist slogans amid party leaders fiery speeches against Israel and America.

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Qazi Hussain Ahmad warned the US was igniting hatred against itself all over the world by patronising Israel.

The Nation quoted Ahmad as saying that the US stooges were ruling the Muslim countries at present and were working for completion of American agenda in their respective countries.

He said that the Islamic movements should come forward and work for forging unity among the Muslims rather than looking forward to their rulers.

The indifference of international organisations and Muslim countries rulers towards ongoing massacre of innocent Palestinians is very shameful, said Ahmad.

The so-called love for humanity of the countries who claimed to be champion of the cause of human rights has also been exposed on this occasion, he added.

He underscored the need for taking practical steps to extend help to people of Palestine rather than merely chanting slogans or staging demonstrations.

Thousands of Mujahideen are ready to enter into Gaza strip to help Palestinians if Egypt opens Riphah crossing, he stated.

Qazi Hussain Ahmad asked Egypt to open Riphah crossing instead of appeasing US so that food and medicines could be dispatched to Gaza.

He also announced to hold grand rally on January 18 against Israeli aggression in Gaza strip. (ANI)
