Islamabad, April 14(ANI): Over 900 people were killed in US drone attacks in Pakistan’s tribal areas, the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has said in its annual report.

The United States does not confirm the drone attacks, but its military and the CIA operating in Afghanistan are the only forces that deploy the unmanned aircraft in the region.

Pakistan officially protests the strikes as violations of its sovereignty, but its security agencies are believed to secretly cooperate with the programme.

The HRCP report, which focuses on human rights violations in Pakistan, also lay an emphasis on terror attacks in 2010, the Dawn reports.

It said 1100 people were killed in terrorist attacks across the country last year. (ANI)
