Islamabad, June 19 (IANS) The UN has upgraded security for its staff and offices in Pakistan amid heightened tensions in the wake of terror attacks, a media report said Friday.
The families of the foreign staff have been asked to leave the country, Geo TV said.
The UN has also advised its staff to restrain their activities.
The security level has been upgraded to phase three after the recent suicide bomb attacks in Peshawar and Islamabad, the TV channel reported.
