Two kids killed in Pakistan blast
December 31st, 2011 - 8:40 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Islamabad, Dec 31 (IANS) At least two children were killed and 13 other people injured Saturday in a remote-controlled bombing in Pakistan’s northwest tribal region, a media report said.
The bombing took place near the house of a tribal elder in Landi Kotal district in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) close to the Afghan border, Xinhua reported citing a local media report.
Officials said the blast took place when people were coming out of the tribal elder’s house after attending a meeting at Fatmikhel area of Khogakhel town.
Tribal militia shifted at least 15 injured to a hospital in Landi Kotal, where officials said a young boy and a girl succumbed to their injuries.
