Twin blasts in Lahore market injure many people
December 7th, 2009 - 11:39 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )Lahore, Dec.7 (ANI): Twin blasts in Moon market of Lahore’s Iqbal Town left several people inured, some of them seriously, on Monday evening, Geo News reported.
The two blasts occurred a gap of just 30 seconds.
Fire erupted in the market immediately after the blasts and engulfed a number of shops.
Moon market is a commercial center of Iqbal Town, Lahore, where shoppers are normally present in large numbers.
So far, there is no information available about the nature of the blasts.
A suicide attack had also been launched at a police station in this area on 13 August last year in which 8 people lost their lives. (ANI)
