Top Al Qaida member killed in drone attack

Washington DC, Dec 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to reports by an U.S. government official says that a top Al-Qaida member has been killed in a drone attack in Pakistan, on the western side.

The official who spoke on conditions of anonymity said that he couldn’t identify the person who was killed, even though it occurred quite recently. However he did clarify that it was neither Osama bin Laden nor Ayman al-Zawahiri, which are the terrorist network’s top two leaders.

NBC News first reported the drone attack on Wednesday and then it was picked up from there.

However intelligence officials have said that the frequency of attacks has increased in the administration by the Nobel Peace Prize Winner of 2009 Barack Obama. The attacks have esp. increased by the armed unmanned aerial vehicles, on various terrorists and their outfits too.
