Toddler killed, body sent to parents after property row
February 3rd, 2011 - 1:31 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Feb 3 (IANS) A one-and-a-half year old girl in Pakistan’s Punjab province was shot dead by her relatives and the body sent back to her parents following a property dispute, police said.The incident took place in Multan city.
Shakir was involved in a property dispute with his brother Zubair, his sister Saira, his brother-in-law Hanif.
Police said that Shakir’s father Noor Ahmed snatched the girl, Bakhtawar, from her mother Khalida and brought her to his house, Express Tribune reported Thursday.
The child was shot and killed and her body was later sent to her parents.
Shakir has accused his father and brother for the murder.
