Three BSF men injured in Pakistani firing
December 19th, 2009 - 3:58 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Jammu, Dec 19 (IANS) Three troopers of the Border Security Force (BSF) were injured Saturday when Pakistani troops fired at a forward Indian border post in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, an official said.
Pakistani troops opened heavy machine gun fire on Kranti post in the Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch district, about 230 km north of Jammu.
The official said the firing came from across the Line of Control and violated the ceasefire agreement.
Three BSF men were injured in the fire. The exchange of fire lasted for 15 minutes, the official added.
