Terrorists blow up school in Pakistan

Islamabad, Nov 11 (IANS) Unidentified terrorists in Pakistan blew up a boys’ school in a district of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) while a security checkpost was also attacked.

The attack was carried out late Wednesday night in Khawaja Was Kor area of Mohmand Agency, a district in FATA, Daily Times said.

Security forces have arrested dozens of members of Khawaja Was tribe under collective responsibility.

In a separate incident, the terrorists attacked a joint security checkpost in Sharaf Kor area of tehsil Safi. The security officials, however, thwarted the attack.

There was no loss of life in the clash.

The security forces, later, cordoned off the area and launched a search operation following which at least 20 suspects were arrested and shifted to Ghallanai jail.

Also in another incident in Pakistan, unidentified bombers Wednesday had blown up a government school for girls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
