Terrorist, policeman killed in Pakistan gun-battle
January 28th, 2012 - 11:19 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Jan 28 (IANS) A policeman and a suicide bomber were killed in a gun-battle Saturday in Pakistan’s northwest tribal region, a media report said.
Another police official was injured when a security patrol came under attack in Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Geo News reported.
The slain terrorist was wearing a suicide vest, and a bomb disposal squad was later called in to defuse the explosives.
A search operation has been launched to nab the rest of the attackers.
