Terror bid foiled, vests and rockets seized in Islamabad
October 8th, 2011 - 5:26 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Oct 8 (IANS) A terrorist attack was foiled in this Pakistani capital city Saturday after heavy arsenal, including two suicide vests, were recovered from a vehicle by police, the Dawn daily reported.
While searching a suspected vehicle in Islamabad’s Chatta Bakhtawar area, police recovered weapons including the suicide vests, hand grenades and rockets.
Police have arrested a suspect in this regard and an investigation is under way.
