Software engineer’s body found near Islamabad
August 5th, 2011 - 1:28 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, Aug 5 (IANS) The body of a software engineer, who was missing for the past five days, was found in the hills near here. He had been shot dead, police said.
Farooq Hussain, 25, was found murdered in the forests of Margalla Hills Thursday, police said.
A police patrol spotted the body as foul smell was emanating from the woods.
A single bullet was fired from close range at the back of his head, Dawn reported.
The victim’s mobile phone record showed that he last spoke to his family in the evening of July 30. A check with the family revealed that he told them that he was going out for dinner with his friends.
