Six kids hurt in Pakistan blast
July 25th, 2012 - 12:58 pm ICT by IANSIslamabad, July 25 (IANS) Six children were seriously injured in a blast when they were playing with what looked like a grenade in a town in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a media report said.
The explosion took place in Darra Adamkhel Tuesday, reported Dawn.
Officials said that children were playing with a device resembling a hand grenade when it exploded.
The injured children were taken to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar.
The daily said that presence of explosives, hand grenades and other arms in houses is common in the gun manufacturing town of Darra Adamkhel.
