Sindh Home Minister warns PML-N against anti-PPP move

Lahore, Feb 21(ANI): Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza has warned the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) of “consequences” if the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is expelled from the Punjab government.
Mirza also said that PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif should stop giving deadlines to the PPP.
“If any undemocratic mean was used against the PPP, not a single office of the PML-N would be spared from Karachi to Kashmore,” the Daily Times quoted Mirza, as saying.
“If the PML-N threatens a long march from Lahore to Islamabad against our government, we too can stage a march form Karachi to Lahore against Lahore rulers,” he added.
Earlier, Nawaz had categorically stated that either the federal government should implement his ten-point agenda or be ready to pack up and go home.
Nawaz said that the agenda had been formulated based on national interest, and would be implemented even if the nation had to hold midterm elections.
“If the government failed to implement his agenda, it would have to go home and another government would complete the ten-point programme,” the PML-N chief had said.
For a change, either midterm elections would be held or the opposition parties inside the National Assembly would form a government together to fulfill this agenda, he added. (ANI)
