Seven soldiers killed in Pakistan

Islamabad, March 10 (IANS) Seven Pakistani soldiers died Friday when Taliban militants attacked their convoy in northwestern part of the country.
They fired rockets on a convoy of security forces in Khar Qamar area of North Waziristan, bordering Afghanistan. Several army vehicles were destroyed.
The soldiers retaliated but it was not immediately clear if the militants suffered casualties, Xinhua reported.
