Pervez Musharraf Islamabad, June 22(ANI): Nawabzada Talal Akbar Bugti, Jamhoori Watan Party (JWP) chief and son of Nawab Akbar Bugti, has filed a petition in the Pakistan Supreme Court seeking arrest of the culprits involved in the murder of his father.

Talal Bugti requested the Pakistan Chief Justice to take suo motu action to bring the culprits to justice.

In his plea, Talal Bugti stated that despite the Balochistan High Court (BHC)’s order and the registration of an FIR, no culprits have been arrested so far.

Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, Aftab Sherpao, Owais Ghani and Jam Yousuf were named in the FIR.

The applicant pleaded the apex court to issue ‘red warrants’ against Musharraf so that he could be brought back to Pakistan through Interpol.

“The former dictator has also been named in the FIR for his role in the Red Mosque tragedy and for the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto,” The Daily Times quoted Talal Bugti, as saying.
